The local elections wreaked havoc on the top flight calendar, so the FFM had to completely redraw the remaining part of the autumn rounds.

There will be no football in any league this weekend, and due to the notification from the Ministry of Interior to FFM that it is unable to provide police presence at the matches due to the holding of local elections. Because of this, and the fact that some of the quarter-final matches of the Macedonian Cup are already scheduled for Tuesday, FFM had to completely redraw the calendar.

Thus, the matches of the postponed Round 10 are scheduled for the following weekend, from Friday to Monday, and the big derby between Shkëndija and Vardar in Tetovo will be played only on Monday, during working hours from 13:30 CET. That means a small audience. Whether this derby was intentionally placed on a working day, or the reason is that Shkëndija will previously play the second match of the UEFA Conference League against the Irish side Shelburne in Skopje on Thursday (October 23), only FFM knows.

For now, the dates are known up to and including the Round 13, but there will be additional shifts considering that Round 14, according to the original calendar, was supposed to be played from November 7 to 10. The opening half-season is planned to end on the weekend of December 6-7, so it remains to be seen whether a round will be played on a Wednesday or another weekend in December.
