The Macedonian U17 national team won second place in the qualifying Group 2 held in Strumica and Turnovo, and qualified for the elite round of the European Championship qualifiers, thanks to a better goal difference than Hungary. The winner of the group is Czechia, winning all three matches.

Coach Kolev managed in the very short period after being appointed to make an excellent combination between players from domestic clubs and those who play abroad (there were 8 internationals in the roster), which ultimately brought a positive result with a qualification to the next phase. We hope that this talented generation will continue with good performances and results in the elite round of qualifiers next spring.
