3.MFL East new season confirmed

Sixteen teams will compete in the new season of the Third League East with popular clubs like Rudar and Malesh making their return.

The first of the 5 third leagues to confirm the new season is the East. The league got expanded from 12 to 16 teams as FFM allowed all third leagues to expand to 14 or 16 teams, if they want.

All the clubs that secured a place from last season are present, plus some new. The league will be without Akademija Pandev who got promoted to the Second League and Karbinci who was relegated. Sloga 1934 was also relegated, but was later spared thanks to the expansion and to the fact that the club is well organized and meets the requirements for playing at this level.

Newcomers are 6 clubs! No play-offs were played as the winners of all active fourth leagues located on the East won a direct promotion:

Malesh (OFS Kochani) returning after season 2012/13
Rudar (OFS Probishtip) returning after season 2013/14
Konche Birlik (OFS Radovish) debutante
Tiverija (OFS Strumica) returning after season 2014/15
Kit-Go Pehchevo (OFS Shtip) debutante

The lone remained place was awarded to Vasilevo who ended up just a point behind Tiverija in the 4.MFL Strumica.

The season will start on 8th of September with a kick-off scheduled for 16.00 CET. The draw for the schedule will be made on the 24th of August.
