The city of Kavadarci is getting ready for this year’s edition of the traditional friendly tournament in honor of legendary Tikvesh player Vuko Karov.

Instead in February like most of the past editions, or in the summer as the last two, this time hosts Tikvesh decided the traditional tournament to be held during the national team break in late September.

At this XXII edition of Vuko Karov there will be 3 teams as nearby Pelister from Bitola and Pobeda from Prilep will join hosts Tikvesh. It will be played in a single day (Sunday the 25th) with each team facing the others in a 45 minute match. After concluding the three matches the standings will give the new champion. All matches will be played at the Gradski stadium.

Holder is the team of Pobeda who last season won its 3rd title. Hosts Tikvesh haven’t won the trophy since their first win in 2011.
