The Macedonian women U19 national team suffered a heavy defeat against their counterparts from Austria.

In the first match of the 6th qualifying round for the European Championship for Women 2012, Macedonia was beaten convincingly by Austria with the score of 5:1.  The match was played at the Mladost Stadium in Strumica.  Our best player, Natasa Andonova, scored Macedonia’s only goal in the 89th minute when she converted a penalty.  Andonova plays her club football in Germany.

Macedonia’s next match is on 19.09 when they take on Italy in a match that will be played in Turnovo.
