Vorskla will use Filip Despotovski and Besart Ibraimi to prepare for Renova

In an interview today, the Vorskla manager announced that he will use help from Filip Despotovski and Besart Ibraimi to prepare for Renova.

Vorskla is not very familiar with Renova so the manager will talk to former Vorskla player Filip Despotovski and former Renova player Besart Ibraimi who currently plays in Ukraine to receive help on their possible opponents in the second round of the Europa League qualifications.  Of course, Renova first must get past Glentoran to face Vorskla in the next round but the manager hopes Renova will advance because of potential paperwork issues that could arise for some of his players on their trip to Northern Ireland.  They don’t anticipate those kinds of problems on a trip to Macedonia.

Apparently, Filip Despotovski has promised Vorskla manager Mykola Pavlov that he will help the club gain information on Renova.  Despotovski used to play for Vorskla from 2008 to 2010 and Pavlov hopes that Despotovski’s knowledge of Macedonian football could help his club get prepared for Renova.  Pavlov also hopes that former Renova player Besart Ibraimi who currently plays in Ukraine with Tavria will pass along information about the team to Despotovski who would then tell Pavlov about the Renova style of play.

Vorskla will be a huge favorite to advance regardless if they face Renova or Glentoran but they want to be prepared and not take any team for granted.
