Defender Vlatko Drobarov, who spent last season with Teteks, has signed a 1 year deal with Banants.
FC Banants, the former club of Vardar right-back Hovhannes Hambardzumyan, has signed free agent central defender Vlatko Drobarov. The length of the contract is for 1 year. Drobarov was looking for a new home after Teteks was relegated following the conclusion of the 2014-15 campaign.
There is a lot of uncertainty facing Teteks given their ownership situation. Thus, many of their players are targeting transfers to other clubs this summer. The 22-year-old Drobarov, who arrived in Armenia earlier this week, signed his contract on Thursday. He played in a friendly several days ago, and did enough in trainings to secure the deal.
Banants will be the second foreign adventure for Drobarov since he formerly played in Mexico as well.
Former youth national team player Filip Timov, who spent last season with Banants, was not retained by the club. Timov is currently a free agent.
