In the coming days, right-back Vladica Brdarovski will undergo a trial with Romanian club Pandurii at their training camp in Turkey.
Newspaper “Makedonski Sport” was the first to report the news about Brdarovski going on trial to Pandurii which was then picked up by Romanian newspapers, including ProSport. Brdarovski, who will turn 22 years old early next month, plays primarily right-back but can also suit up further up the field in midfield as well. Vladica is a good athlete who possesses plus speed down the right flank of the field.
Besides Brdarovski, Pandurii will test other players in upcoming friendlies that will take place from 3-14 February at their winter training camp in Antalya, Turkey. Another player that has been confirmed to be on trial at Pandurii is Belgian midfielder Funso Ojo. Pandurii had a solid first half of the season in Romania’s top division where they currently occupy the 4th position on the standings.
To date, Brdarovski has had one brief international adventure back in 2011 with Czech side Zbrojovka Brno. However, Vladica did not see much playing time before he returned to Macedonia. In addition to his hometown club Pelister, where he is now on his second tour of duty, Brdarovski has also played for Rabotnichki during his stay in Macedonia. But, as is the case for many in Macedonia’s championship, the majority of players dream of greener pastures in foreign leagues, whether in Europe or other parts of the world.
Vladica has formerly played for the youth national teams of Macedonia, and also collected one cap for the senior national team in December of 2012. That came in a friendly against Poland that former manager Chedomir Janevski used to exclusively test domestic based players. Macedonia would lose that game 1:4.
