The guests from Bulgaria, Vihren, was the winner of the 15th edition of the memorial tournament Vuko Karov which is played in Kavadarci.
Vihren was drawn to face the host club Tikvesh in the semi-finals. The Bulgarian club celebrated a narrow 1:0 victory and went directly into the final, thus sending the defending winners of the tournament to play in the third place game. Meanwhile, in the second semi-final game, Sileks easily defeated Pobeda Junior 3:0.
In the final, Vihren once again managed to come out on top without conceding a goal. A 2:0 win over Sileks brought Vihren its first Vuko Karov title. Kepov opened the scoring in the 16th minute, while the final 2:0 score was set by Sakadjiski in the 73rd minute. Sileks failed to tie Pobeda in the number of Vuko Karov titles won as Pobeda had 4 while Sileks remained at 3 with this loss. It is interesting to note that Vihren is a low division club from Bulgaria, not playing in the first three leagues.
In the battle for third place, Tikvesh destroyed Pobeda Junior 4:0. The goals for the home side were scored by Ilija Jakov, Goranco Stojanovski, Sasko Dukov and Metodija Ilov.
