Another Armenian at Vardar played for his national team, this time in 2016 EURO qualifications.

After the friendly against Latvia where only Hambardzumyan entered the game, Armenia travelled to Denmark where the trio players from Vardar again started the game on the bench. The visitors took the lead but Denmark made a total come back by scoring twice. Four minutes after the home team scored the second, Artak Dashyan substituted Edgar Manucharyan (84th minute). With very little time left, Dashyan couldn’t help the Armenians to score a levelling goal. For Artak this was his 5th national team appearance.

Hovhannes Hambardzumyan, Artak Dashyan and Artur Miranyan will have a new chance in October when Armenia hosts Serbia (qualifier, 11th) and France (friendly, 14th).
