FFM informed the public today that Vardar has been granted a license for European competitions in the 2012/13 season.
Upon further evidence given by the joint stock company FK Vardar Skopje to the football federation of Macedonia, who then sent the info to UEFA, Vardar was granted a license to compete in European matches. UEFA thoroughly analyzed the paperwork and came to the conclusion that Vardar has met all conditions to be granted a license.
In addition, each club will need to transform into a joint stock company and go over this procedure in order to get license for European competitions in the next three seasons.
As a reminder, Vardar finished in first place and thus will participate in Champions League Qualifications. The draw will be made on 25th of June.
Metalurg, Shkendija and Renova will be the other three teams representing Macedonian football in Europe for the 2012/13 season as they will partake in the Europa League qualifications.
