Macedonia U21 national team suffered a defeat today in a friendly match played in Antalya, against Belarus, which was the debut for the coach Goran Stanikj.

The young Macedonians had a several chances for scoring but only Kire Stojanov managed to do that, ten minutes before the regular time. Dubinec in 22nd minute, Frantsuzov in 61st minute and Tsepenkov in 69th minute were the creators of Belarus’ victory.

Macedonian football federation issued a note that the match was marked by a disastrous delegation of justice by the Turkish referees. Namely, at half-time, the Belarusian footballer, Kirill Tsepenkov, was taken out of the game, but in the second half he re-entered the game in place of another player who had left the field due to injury. The referees were aware of the situation and the mistake made by the Belarusian team, but didn’t react, allowing Kirill Tsepenkov to finish the match. In the end, the Belarusian footballer scored the third goal of today’s match.
