Sweden took control from the start and opened the scoring after 15 minutes. Victor Svensson finished from Noah Tolf’s assist to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Macedonia struggled to create clear chances as Sweden continued to control possession and the tempo of the game.
The hosts doubled their advantage seven minutes into the second half when Alieu Njie found the net in the 52nd minute to make it 2-0. Sweden comfortably protected their lead until the final whistle and secured all three points.
The defeat leaves Macedonia in fifth place in Group E with seven points from their qualifying campaign, while Sweden finished fourth. The group was decided in the other final-round match, where Italy produced a convincing 6-2 victory over Poland.
