The U19 national team of Macedonia will play a friendly against their counterparts from Turkey this upcoming Thursday.
New Macedonia U19 manager Goran Stanikj has named a squad of 18 players for the test away to Turkey U19 on February 26. Only one player on the list is based abroad, that being the highly rated Emil Abaz from the youth teams of Belgian giants Anderlecht. The other 17 players are all based in Macedonia. Due to the timing of this friendly (not being a FIFA date), many other players based abroad could not be called up.
