Macedonia U19 responded well after a heavy beating and notched a 2:1 victory over their Romanian counterparts.

After the shameful 7:0 defeat two days ago, the Macedonian U19 national team responded and recorded a 1:2 victory against Romania, thus lowering the bad impression made in the first match.  The goals for Macedonia were scored by Valmir Nafiu in the 32nd minute and Mario Donev in the 83rd minute.  Nafiu recently moved to Swiss club Basel from Shkendija.

 This was the second friendly between the U19 youth national teams of Macedonia and Romania.  The young players showed good character by responding well after a heavy defeat.
