After the defeat in the first game, Macedonia U19 managed to win the second friendly against Romania U19.
After the rather unlucky 1:2 defeat in the first match against Romania, Macedonia U19 responded well to celebrate a 4:2 win in the second friendly. Petar Petkovski, Tauljant Sulejmanov, who scored twice from the penalty spot, and Adrijan Chavoli scored the goals for Macedonia, while Paul Pațurcă and George Mareș were the goalscorers for the visiting team.
Macedonia started the match with the following line-up: Dushan Gjorgjev, Slobodan Bocevski, Sabahudin Alomerovikj, Redjep Kurt, Stefan Terziev, Boris Dobrikj, Adrijan Chavoli, Konstantin Cheshmendjiev, Benjamin Demir, Tauljant Sulejmanov, Petar Petkovski.
Filip Ilikj, Kostadin Zajkov, Antonio Ilievski, Stefan Andrikj, Tihomir Kostadinov, Mihajlo Jakimovski, Dimitar Mitkov and Todor Nikolovski were on the substitutes bench.
“This was an interesting and efficient match. We played much better this time compared to the last match, especially in finishing. I think better concentration helped up along the way. These are young footballers and with hard work they will improve on a daily basis” – said manager Mario Vujovikj after the match.
