After the easy win over Novigrad, Macedonia lost their second match of the Kvarnerska Rivijera 2012 tournament. Hajduk Split proved to be a strong opponent and won 3:1 against Macedonia U19. Viktor Angelov scored the opening goal in the 50th minute to give Macedonia U19 the narrow lead but Hajduk Split turned the game around and scored the next three goals on their way to the 3:1 win.
With one win and one defeat, Macedonia will be looking to close group action with a win over Vicenza, who celebrated a 4:0 victory over Novigrad in the other game of the round that took place today. The top two teams advance to the quarter-finals and after two rounds, Vicenza has 6 points while Macedonia U19 and Hajduk Split are tied for second place with 3 points apiece.
