U18: Macedonia – Poland 2:2

In the second friendly against Poland the young Macedonians played a 2:2 draw with both goals being scored from penalty kicks.

Goran Stanikj’s squad yesterday played the second of the two friendly matches against the Polish U19 national team. After the 1:0 defeat in the first game, this time the young Lynx played a 2:2 draw.

The visitors took a two goals lead in a four minute span as first Mikołaj Nawrocki in the 17th minute and then Maciej Twarowski in the 20th found the back of Alchevski’s net.

In the last minute before the break Macedonia pulled one back through Agon Elezi who successfully converted a penalty kick.

The second half was little chances and no goals from active play as Macedonia equalized but once again from the spot. Ten minutes before the final whistle Elezi scored his second beating Frankowski again from a penalty kick.
