The Macedonian U18 national team hosted Slovakia and played two friendlies in Skopje. The first one ended in a draw while in the second one the visitors were better rival and provided a comfortable win. Both matches were played in a competitive game that was full of rough play at times, and it is fortunate that there were no major incidents. We must emphasize that the referees were not up to the task either. In both matches, mistakes were made that directly affected the final result. In the first match, Macedonia equalized from a non-existent penalty, while in the second match, Slovakia was awarded a goal from a clear offside position.
