‘From all the players, only Sulejmani from Polish side Gdansk is missing. The players are motivated, ready to play and represent Macedonia in the best form. The group is a really challenging one. The favorites England and France along with the hosts Cyprus are all serious matches. Besides the two top-placed teams, there is a chance to advance as third-placed team but you will have to have a good record against the top two teams. For us, it is most important to focus on the training camp first and then to try and compete with each and every of the teams and with a bit of luck, we will hope for the best results’ said manager Bobi Stojkoski.
The top two from each progress alongside the five third-placed teams with the best record against the top pair in their groups.
Macedonia first plays against France on the 25th of October, then England on the 27th and finishes the tournament on the 30th with a match against the hosts Cyprus.
