This month Macedonia will participate in the famous Turkish tournament for youth national teams, the Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup.

Newly appointed U17 national team coach Goran Stankovski summoned 20 players that will travel to Kuşadası, the well-known Turkish sea resort where the tournament will take place. Macedonia is in the second group together with Albania, Russia and Spain. In the opening round Macedonia will face Russia.

The Macedonian team that will participate is currently the U16, but will be the U17 in the next qualifiers.

The tournament will begin on the 14th with the first round matches. Round two and three will follow on the 15th and the 17th, while the tournament will end with the final game on the 21st.
