U17 Elite Round: Poland – Macedonia 3:0 (Video)

Second defeat for the young Lynx who are officially out of race for the EURO. This time they got defeated by tournament hosts Poland.

Another heavy defeat and another game without scoring a goal. The U17 national team of Macedonia is definitely not up to this Elite Round challenge.

The host players of Poland clinched the first three points after playing a draw in the opening round against Georgia. On the other hand, Macedonia recorded another 3:0 defeat as the one two days against by Ireland.

The match could have gone in different way if a normal referee was appointed. In the 22nd minute Christophe Pires from Luxembourg showed that he has no future in this sport. Agon Elezi was brought down in the box by Michał Bogacz who stepped on his foot, but the ball reached Vlada Novevski who with a great shot beat the home keeper. However, the Luxembourgian clown dismissed the goal and awarded Poland a free kick. He then totally lost himself by giving Novevski a yellow card out of the blue. If there was no goal then clearly there was a penalty kick.

Now the last game against Georgia on Tuesday will be to avoid the bottom place.
