U17 and U19 national teams have played two friendly matches with Bosnia-Herzegovina U17 and U19 national teams.
Both teams return home with no win in hand, as both teams noted one draw and one defeat in the matches against Bosnian counter parts.
U17 had their first match on 16.04, in Srebrenik. That match ended in a scoreless draw, with Macedonia having some chances during the match and a complaint for not getting a penalty.
Coach Nesimi fielded the following line-up for the match: Celeski, Bochevski, Gichevski, Georgievski, Digalovski, Jevtovski, Lazarovski, Kurt, Petkovski, Zdravkovski and Hristov. In the later phases of the match Kudijan, Georgiev, Mirchevski and Kochoski also got a chance to play.
Two days later, in Modriča, the two teams met again. This time, the home team was better and won 2:1, although Macedonia opened the scoreline early in the match with Petkovski’s goal in 5th minute. However, Gojak’s brace of goals brought the home team the win.
Starting line-up: Celeski, Bochevski, Gichevski, Georgievski, Digalovski, Jevtovski, Lazarovski, Kurt, Petkovski, Zdravkovski and Kudijan. Hristov, Mirchevski, Georgiev, Nikolovski and Kochoski entered the match in the later phases as well.
U19 also played on same days against their counterparts and had no better luck then their younger colleagues. The team lost the first match 1:0.
Alekso Mackov started the match with the following 11 players: Shishkovski, Zajkov, Ristevski, Trajkovikj, Gligurovski, Bojku, Naumoski, Stoilov, Imeri, Kostovski, Markovski. Mitrov, Sulejmanov, Bardi, Ivanov, Malikji, Hristov and Asani were brought in play as well.
The second match went better for Macedonia as they did not lost, but they did not score a goal as well.
Starting line-up: Shishkovski, Zajkov, Ristevski, Trajkovikj, Gligurovski, Bojku, Naumoski, Stoilov, Kostovski Sulejmanov and Markovski. Imeri, Ivanov, Mitrov, Malikji, Hristov and Asani were used substitutions.
