Midweek internationals performances

A number of Macedonian players were in action during the midweek period, most of them taking part in domestic cup matches.  Here is a recap of their performances:

Belgium, Jupiler League, Club Brugge – Zulte Waregem 3:4
Ivan Trichkovski opened on the bench for Club Brugge before he entered the game in the 61st minute replacing Lior Refaelov, while Aleksandar Trajkovski came off the bench for Zulte Waregem in the 84th minute to substitute Franck Berrier.

Ukraine, Kubok Ukraini, Volyn – Dnipro 0:2
Vanche Shikov started for Volyn and played until the 60th minute when he made way for Ramon Lopes, while his teammate Dushan Savic played all 90 minutes in attack.  Each player also received a yellow card during the game as Volyn conceded one goal in stoppage time of the 1st half and the other goal in stoppage time of the 2nd half.

Ukraine, Kubok Ukraini, Shakhtar Donetsk – Karpaty 2:1
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty and conceded two goals in the 32nd and 42nd minute.  His club was officially eliminated from the Ukrainian Cup.

Italy, Serie B, Modena – Bari 0:0
Stefan Ristovski played the entire game for Bari and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the road encounter against Modena.

Germany, DFB-Pokal, Bayern München – Wolfsburg 6:1
Ferhan Hasani was not called up by Wolfsburg.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Celje – Maribor 2:1
Agim Ibraimi was not included in the Maribor squad due to a red card suspension, while Lutfi Bilali was an unused substitute for Celje.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Domžale – Rudar 2:0
Zeni Husmani started on the bench for Domžale before he entered the game in the 66th minute replacing Liridon Osmanaj, while his teammate Dragan Chadikovski did not make the squad due to an injury.

Switzerland, Schweizer Cup, Zürich – Grasshoppers 1:2
Adis Jahovic began the game on the bench for Zürich before he came on during extra time in the 99th minute to substitute Mathieu Béda.  It was 1:1 after 90 minutes but Grasshoppers grabbed a quick goal in the 95th minute, causing the Zürich manager to bring on an added striker in Jahovic.  However, Zürich could not get an equalizer and was eliminated from the Swiss Cup as Adis was also shown a yellow card in the 113th minute.

Israel, State Cup, Ironi Kiryat Shmona – Maccabi Haifa 2:1
Darko Tasevski got the start for Ironi Kiryat Shmona and played until the 59th minute when he was replaced by Ahmed Abed.

Romania, Cupa României, CFR Cluj – Astra 0:0
Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench for Astra before he entered the game in the 81st minute to substitute Constantin Budescu.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Vaslui – Brașov 1:1
Nderim Nedjipi was an unused substitute for Vaslui.

South Korea, K-League Classic, Busan – Suwon 2:1
Stevica Ristic began the game on the bench for Suwon before he came on in the 63rd minute replacing fellow striker Dženan Radončić.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – Buriram United 1:2
Mario Gjurovski played all 90 minutes for Muangthong United who suffered their first home loss in league play since December of 2011.

Azerbaijan, Azərbaycan Kuboku, Neftçi – Qarabağ 2:1
Igor Mitreski played the entire game for Neftçi in central defense, while Muarem Muarem came off the bench for Qarabağ in the 78th minute to replace Reynaldo Silva.

Azerbaijan, Azərbaycan Kuboku, Bakı – Khazar Lankaran 1:0
Edin Nuredinoski stayed on the bench for Bakı as the #2 keeper behind Kamran Agayev.

Slovakia, Slovenský Pohár, Slovan Bratislava – Košice 3:1
Darko Tofiloski was not included in the Košice squad due to a red card suspension.

Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Jagodina – Javor 4:1
Dragan Stojkov started the game on the bench for Jagodina before he made a late substitute appearance in the 87th minute to substitute Filip Arsenijević.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Helsingborg – Mjällby 1:2
Daniel Ivanovski got the start for Mjällby and played until the 72nd minute when he made way for Mahmut Özen.  Ivanovski was also shown a yellow card in the 45th minute.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – Gefle 1:0
Daniel Ivanovski played all 90 minutes for Mjällby and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet as his team featured in two games during the midweek period on Monday and Thursday.
