In the first semifinal our team lost 2:1 against Serbia. Filip Trpchevski opened the score in the 36th minute but in the second half the home team scored twice through Bačanin and Ajdar and won the game. According to the statement given by our coach Stankovski to the web portal Sportmedia, we were brutally robbed by the Serbian referee Andrija Stojanović especially in the second half. Our head coach Goran Stankovski and his assistant Dimitrija Lazarevski were sent off because of the reactions against the criminal decisions of the referee Stojanović.
In the second semifinal Montenegro defeated Bulgaria 6:5 after penalties (3:3 regular time) therefore we’ll play against Bulgaria for the 3rd place at the tournament on Thursday.
