Macedonian U16 national team defeated Armenian counterparts 3:0 in the second match of the UEFA development tournament.

After the initial 0:1 defeat to Cyprus, Macedonia U16 played a much better match and easily defeated Armenia U16. Captain Milan Ristovski opened the scoreline in the 23rd minute, while just two minutes later Darko Dodev added another goal. Emil Abaz rounded the good performance with the third and final goal of the match in the 65th minute.

Macedonian manager Bobi Stojkoski opted for the following starting line-up: Filip Trajchevski, Viktor Stojkovski, Aleksandar Karabov, Emil Abaz, Semavat Seferi, Esmin Lichina, Milan Ristovski, Nehar Sadiki, Milosh Toshevski, Darko  Dodev, Andrej Kirovski. Alban Sulejmani, Davor Zdravkovski, Agon Hani, Igor Petkov, Viktor Dimkov, Filip Gichevski and Filip Joshevski were given chances in the second half.

‘After yesterday’s match I made many squad rotations. We had new players in the starting line up and that added freshness in the squad. We have played much better and deservedly won. Yesterday I had serious issues with my team’s play, but today I can only praise them’ said manager Stojkoski.
