Trichkovski agrees to 2 year deal with Al-Nasr

Striker Ivan Trichkovski will once again work under Ivan Jovanović, the manager who coached him at APOEL earlier in his career.  Jovanović is now in charge of Al-Nasr and lobbied to the club’s ownership to sign Trichkovski.  The Dubai based club has deep pockets and made the best financial offer to Ivan, who decided to accept the offer.  Waasland-Beveren, where Trichkovski spent last season on loan, also wanted to bring him back, but simply they could not compete financially with Al-Nasr.

Trichkovski is being signed to replace Brazilian attacker Éder Luís.  Ivan signed a 2 year deal and will wear #7 for his new team.

The 27-year-old Trichkovski has been a regular on the Macedonian national team over the past couple of years, but he could very well lose his spot on the team after signing with Al-Nasr.  The move is clearly money related as the player chose greed over ambition.

Ivan has not been the same player after his failed stint with Club Brugge.  He will now aim to get his career back on track under the guidance of Al-Nasr manager Ivan Jovanović.
