In the last round of the Belgian league season, Aleksandar Trajkovski scored a clever goal to help Zulte Waregem salvage a home point against Lokeren.
Aleksandar Trajkovski played all 90 minutes for Zulte Waregem and was named the man of the match by Belgian website sport.be. Trajkovski started regularly at the start of the season, then didn’t play much in the middle of the season, before closing the season on a high note in the past couple of games. In the 72nd minute of Saturday’s game against Lokeren, with Zulte Waregem trailing 0:2, the 19-year-old Trajkovski scored a clever goal to reduce the deficit. The ball managed to find Trajkovski, following a corner kick, who then lifted his right leg and lobbed a shot over both the keeper and a Lokeren player defending the right goal post to the back of the net. Zulte Waregem managed to score the equalizer in the 88th minute to set the final score at 2:2.
