Former Polonia Warszawa right back Aleksandar Todorovski is likely to remain in Poland as at least two teams have expressed interest in signing the Macedonian international.
Aleksandar Todorovski terminated his contract with Polonia Warszawa at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season after his former club did not obtain a license from the Polish federation due to financial problems. Several players were not paid their wages during the season which went into the decision by the Polish federation to relegate Polonia Warszawa to the 4th division.
In the past few days, Polish newspapers have reported that Jagiellonia and Cracovia have an interest in acquiring Todorovski. Jagiellonia is seen as the favorite to land Todorovski as his former manager at Polonia Warszawa, Piotr Stokowiec, recently took over as manager of Jagiellonia.
Jagiellonia is looking to strengthen the roster after a disappointing 10th place finish last season, while Cracovia, the other rumored team interested in Todorovski, won promotion after finishing in 2nd place of the Polish second division last season.
