Blagoja Todorovski has departed Rabotnichki to join rival Shkendija.

Shkendija continued its busy transfer campaign this winter by announcing the signing of versatile veteran Blagoja Todorovski. Not only is Shkendija getting a proven player in the Macedonian league, but they are also weakening one of their rivals at the top of the table. Todorovski served as the captain for Rabotnichki who looks drastically weaker on paper.

They have lost a number of key players this winter as the club has been in a selling mode. They have lost Aco Stojkov, Taulant Sulejmanov, Damjan Shishkovski, Igor Gal and now Todorovski. More departures could be on the horizon since they are known to sell players if they receive satisfactory offers. Guys like Stephan Vujčić, Milovan Petrovikj and Darko Velkovski could leave if good offers come in.

With the signings that Vardar and Shkendija have made this month, the Macedonian league is shaping up to be a two team race for the league title. Rabotnichki is well coached, but the losses of key players will be tough to overcome. Vardar currently leads Rabotnichki by 3 points at the top of the table, while their lead over third placed Shkendija is 8 points.
