Todorovski dropped to the bench

Aleksandar Todorovski was relegated to the bench for Polonia Warszawa in their home game against Podbeskidzie.

In the previous league game, which Polonia Warszawa lost 1:0, Aleksandar Todorovski received some criticism for bad marking that resulted in a goal for Zagłębie Lubin.  The goal came on a header following a free kick in which Todorovski seemed hesitant and did not attack the ball that ultimately led to his marker sending his effort to the back of the net.  Todorovski has also not played as well in the last couple of matches so that resulted in the Polonia Warszawa manager dropping Aleksandar to the bench and starting Jakub Tosik at right-back.  Tosik ended up playing all 90 minutes in today’s 2:1 win over Podbeskidzie with Todorovski staying on the bench as an unused substitute.  Aleksandar had started eleven consecutive games for Polonia Warszawa, nine in league play and two more in domestic cup action, prior to today’s game ending that streak.
