Shkupi traveled to Kavadarci to face Tikvesh after the goalless first leg in Skopje. The fans of Kavadarci packed the Gradski stadium in an attempt to help their team to reach its first historic final. Both teams had some chances, but for 90 minutes none managed to score a winner, so since the score on aggregate remained 0:0, the winner had to be decided on penalties.

In the penalty shootout, Tikvesh was more successful converting all five penalties, while Shkupi missed their opening shot when home keeper Ariane Renner saved Darko Ilieski’s shot, which later proved to be decisive.

The other semifinal was played at the Gjorce Petrov stadium in Skopje where holders Macedonia GjP hosted Voska Sport, who arrived from Ohrid with a 2:0 advantage.

After just 13 minutes the guests took the lead for 3:0 agg. thanks to the goal of 21-year-old Djemilj Jahiji. The Lions quickly came back equalizing through Samir Fazli in the 25th minute. The hosts made a complete turnaround in the 64th minute when Krste Velkoski converted a penalty kick after visiting keeper Kostadin Zakhov made a naive foul on Brazilian Roberto Neto. Till the end the home team was trying, but failed to score a third goal and equalize the aggregate, so Voska Sport for the first time in its history made it to the final.

The big final is scheduled for May 22 (Wednesday), but FFM will additionally make a decision at which stadium it will be played and at what time. It is expected to be in the evening hours.

Given that this will be the first Cup final for both teams, one of them will make history not just entering the Cup hall of fame, but also by qualifying for the UEFA Conference League this summer. It will be a debut European appearance for whoever wins the Cup.
