Three 2.MFL clubs confirmed point deduction

Novaci, Tikvesh and Pobeda (V) have been confirmed the announced one point deduction each as a punishment for the disqualification of some of their youth teams.

This point deduction won’t really affect Novaci as they are bottom placed in the 2.MFL West and practically doomed for relegation. FFM punishes them because all of their youth teams faced problems during the first half-season. Honestly, Novaci deserves a bigger punishment.

Novaci’s record in the youth leagues:

U19 2.MFL – disqualified after Round 10 (did not play 2 matches)
U18 2.MFL – disqualified after Round 11 (did not play 2 matches)
U17 2.MFL – quit after Round 9
U16 2.MFL – quit after Round 9

Pobeda from Valandovo has been punished for their U17 and U16 teams. With this point deduction they are now 4 points away from the save zone in the 2.MFL East. The team did not sign any new players during the winter transfer window, recorded only departures, so even without this deduction they would most probably relegate.

Pobeda’s record in the youth leagues:

U19 – inactive
U18 – inactive
U17 3.MFL East – disqualified after Round 10 (did not play 4 matches)
U16 3.MFL East – disqualified after Round 10 (did not play 3 matches)

Tikvesh was active during the transfer window, unlike Pobeda. They have a chance for the promotion play-off spot in the 2.MFL East and this deduction sends them a step backwards.

Tikvesh’s record in the youth leagues:

U19 2.MFL – active, no problems
U18 2.MFL – disqualified after Round 10 (did not play 2 matches)
U17 2.MFL – active, no problems
U16 2.MFL – active, no problems
