Teteks builds new squad for spring

Most active first league team during the winter transfer window so far is definitely Teteks.

Rock bottom Teteks is understandably very active during the winter transfer window. As well as being 12th on the table, Teteks are to face Sileks in the Macedonian Cup semi-final, so at the same time they have a battle on two fronts. One for avoiding relegation and the other for obtaining Europa League spot for next season. That is why their management has brought and released several players so far and it seems like there’s no stopping yet.

Forward Filip Petkovski was the first name that was brought in after his transfer to Politehnica Timişoara in Romania fell through. Next was defender Aleksandar Krsteski who left Drita to move to Teteks. Pairing Krsteski in defense might be Zlatko Ristov who also joined the team from Second League side Gorno Lisiche. Goalkeeper Vanche Manchevski, Genc Hyseni and Darko Micevski from Rabotnichki also reinforced Teteks as well as Filip Duranski and Robert Lazarevski who joined the team from Horizont Turnovo.

On the other side, Risto Mitrevski left the club and joined Metalurg, as well as Kiril Trajkovski. Marjan Bilbilovski will continue in Makedonija Gjorche Petrov, while Dushko Trajchevski in Rabotnichki. Laze Grbashliev and Nemanja Đurović are also no longer part of the team.

Teteks will have their winter training camp in Antalya, Turkey where they will leave tomorrow and play several friendly matches in order to increase the form before second half of the season.
