Teteks and Metalurg will play in the Macedonian Cup final on 24th of May.
After first legs ended with scoreless draws in both matches, only Teteks used the advantage as a home team in the second leg. Tikves, the only second-league side in the semi-final was no match for the defending champions and were outclassed 6:0. Teteks now has the chance to defend the title. Daniel Jovanovski, twice Ivica Gligorovski, Dusan Simovski, Goran Siljanovski and an own goal by Trajce Lostov stands beside each of the 6 goals for the home team.
In the second match which attracted much more attention, Metalurg managed to win 0:2 on the hot pitch in Kicevo and found themselves in the final. Both goals for the visiting team were scored in the first half.
The grand final will be played on 24th of May on the National Arena Philip II of Macedon. This will be Teteks’ second consecutive final after they won the title last year beating Rabotnicki 3:2. Metalurg has the first opportunity to play for a title.
