After reviewing the performances of Macedonian football players over the month of November, we put a list of the best starting 11 during that span.
We compiled stats such as games played, goals, assists and clean sheets to determine which players deserved to be on the team.
We had doubts on several positions as we thought more players were deserving for the spots, but we decided to go with the following line-up in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Martin Bogatinov
One of our biggest dilemmas was whether to go with Bogatinov or Pachovski on the goal. Pachovski was looking good on the friendly match against Slovenia, but we decided to go with Bogatinov as he had a better month with his club, keeping two clean sheets and winning twice with his team.
Daniel Georgievski
Georgievski played on three matches during November, twice as a starter, noted wins on all three matches, but also suffered an injury that will keep him away from the pitch for a while. We were thinking between him and Stefan Ristovski but decided to go with Georgievski nevertheless.
Vanche Shikov
The central defender duo was rather easy this time. Vanche Shikov noted two wins, allowing few goals for Volyn in Ukraine.
Nikolche Noveski
Partnering Shikov in defense is Noveski who had a similar performance during November plus adding the fact he has scored a goal for Mainz.
Mite Cikarski
Left back position, along with the keepers spot and the left wing were our most problematic during November. In particular for left back, we were thinking between Cikarski and Aleksandar Lazevski. Lazevski was part of our team of the month during October, but for November we went with Cikarski who had a very solid month with Vardar not allowing a single goal for the leaders of the domestic championship.
Ostoja Stjepanovikj
The defensive/central midfielder position is not a position where he have vast variety of players. For this month we are going with Vardar’s Stjepanovikj and Muarem Muarem. Stjepanovikj led his team to two wins and two draws, but managed to score two goals during November and deserved a spot on the team.
Muarem Muarem
Our doubt for this position was between Muarem and Muhamed Demiri. Demiri plays in a much better competition but did not really had the best of months with his club, while Muarem showed good performances with his team, scored one goal during November and his team is now on the third place in Azerbaijan.
Agim Ibraimi
Meanwhile Agim Ibraimi is a regularly member of this category. Five games in the Slovenian league, two in the Europa League and the friendly against Slovenia, all as a starter including five goals and two assists.
Dushan Savikj
Dushan Savikj made four starts for Volyn in November and was the key for the two wins achieved in this period as he scored the lone goal in the win against Vorskla and provided one goal and one assist in the 2-1 victory against Goverla.
Ivan Mitrov
A tough decision between Dejan Blazhevski and Ivan Mitrov had to be taken, we decided to select the latter. Mitrov played four times and the most outstanding performance took place against Shkendija against whom he scored a hat-trick. Furthermore a foul on him led to the game decisive penalty in the win at home against Pelister.
Adis Jahovikj
Three games in the Swiss Super League in which he scored one goal and the good game against Slovenia with one goal and one assist made Adis Jahovikj an easy choice for the centre forward spot.
