Sulejmanov youngest to debut for senior NT

SulejmanovTauljant Sulejmanov has entered the history books for the time being as he is now the youngest player to debut for the Macedonian national team.

At 17 years, 6 months and 12 days, Sulejmanov became the youngest player to debut for the Macedonian national team. When Sulejmanov entered the friendly match against Cameroon as a substitute in the 58th minute, he also entered Macedonian football history. Prior to that, the youngest to debut for Macedonia was Goran Pandev. 

Before Sulejmanov, Goran Pandev held that mark at 17 years, 10 months and 11 days during the friendly match against Turkey on the 6th of June, 2001.

Sulejmanov is currently still with Rabotnichki, but once he turns 18 in November, or better yet in the winter transfer window of January, 2015, he will move to Young Boys in Switzerland, as he already agreed to a deal with that club.
