It was already known that the match will take place, but FFM confirmed it just yesterday. They also announced that after some time the national team will be back in Strumica as the match will take place at the Blagoj Istatov stadium, formerly known as Mladost. In fact, it will be a first match for the national team on this stadium with the new name. It will take place on Tuesday, 17 October with a kick-off at 15.00 CET.
The last match that Macedonia played in Strumica was exactly 6 years ago – on 9 October 2027 a 4:0 against Liechtenstein in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
