Manager John Toshack announced today that Stefan Ristovski has been added to the national team and will be available for the Andorra game.
Since Goran Pandev, Nikolce Noveski, and Muhamed Demiri are suspended for the Andorra game and Darko Tasevski decided to return to Sofia, John Toshack decided to add an extra player in the 19 year old Stefan Ristovski who can play as either a RB or in right midfield. That means Toshack will now have 20 players available for the Andorra game as Vlade Lazarevski, Vlatko Grozdanoski, and Muhamed Huseini have rejoined the national team after not making the trip to Russia.
The national team already held a training today in preparation for Tuesday’s game against Andorra. Toshack added the talented Ristovski as he continues the focus on younger players in anticipation for the 2014 World Cup qualifications. He wants to see the qualities of the younger players and many of them are expected to be given a chance in the Andorra game.
As mentioned before, Pandev, Noveski, and Demiri are no longer with the national team as they have returned to their club teams because each player was suspended for the Andorra game. Tomorrow, John Toshack will hold a press conference at around 12:30 CET at the StoneBridge Hotel in Skopje.
