Attacker Aleksandar Stankov scored in his fourth consecutive game for Oss during today’s 3:2 loss against Dordrecht.
Aleksandar Stankov played all 90 minutes for Oss in attack while his twin brother and teammate, Antonio Stankov, also got the start and played until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Mark Redshaw. Aleksandar scored the first goal for Oss in the 29th minute when he connected on a free kick to slid home a shot from close range to the back of the net. That goal made it 2:1 for Dordrecht who then extended the lead to 3:1 in the 64th minute. Redshaw, who replaced Antonio Stankov, managed to pull one goal back for Oss in the 88th minute to complete the scoreline at 3:2.
Oss has now lost ten of its last twelve games in league play. There is one more game remaining until the end of the season in the Dutch second division but Oss was able to avoid relegation, despite the bad results over the past two months.
