Skopje defeated 11 Oktomvri 2:0 but it wasn’t enough to overcome the first leg deficit so they were eliminated from the Macedonian Cup.

After the 4:0 advantage from the first leg, 11 Oktomvri was a pretty safe bet to advance to the next round.  The hosts, FK Skopje, battled in the second leg but they could not overcome the first leg deficit.  Skopje won today’s game 2:0 but it wasn’t enough for them to secure a place in the quarter finals.  The goals by Skopje were scored by Popovski in the 48th minute and Nedelkovski in the 55th minute.  Thus, 11 Oktomvri becomes the the 8th and final team in the quarter-finals, joining Vardar, Teteks, Bregalnica, Rabotnicki, Horizont Turnovo, Renova and Napredok in the next round which only includes first league clubs.  The surprise is that the list does not include defending cup champions Metalurg and defending league champions Shkendija who were both eliminated from the Macedonian Cup yesterday.
