Agim Ibraimi was an injury doubt going into today’s Europa League match but he made the Maribor bench and might make a substitute appearance later in the game.

Agim Ibraimi has been in great form for Maribor this season but he has missed the past couple of games because of an injury.  He was a serious doubt for today’s Europa League match against Birmingham City but Agim was able to make the bench for Maribor.  Ibraimi is still not able to play 90 minutes at this point but could make a substitute appearance later in the game if Maribor needs some creativity to their attack.  The match against Birmingham City will start in about 40 minutes.

Ibraimi was included in the latest Macedonian squad by John Toshack for the upcoming EURO 2012 qualifiers against Armenia and Slovakia.  However, Maribor could ask the Football Federation of Macedonia to withdraw Ibraimi from the list since he will need that time to fully recover from his injury.
