Roy Ferenčina got fired as manager of Shkendija due to the bad results.
The American-born Croat manager Roy Ferenčina didn’t last long on Shkendija’s bench. A day after his second league defeat by Rabotnichki, the board decided that Ferenčina probably isn’t the right man for the job. The new sponsor of the Red&Black invested much in building a new team but Ferenčina’s results were very disappointing. He recorded 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats in the First League and 1 win and 1 defeat in the Europa League qualifications, an adventure that lasted a disappointing only one round as Moldovan side Zimbru eliminated Shkendija with 3:2 on aggregate.
Until a new manager will be hired, the team will be lead by the assistant Jeton Bekjiri. As MacedonianFootball unofficially finds out, former Vardar manager Blagoja Milevski is the number one candidate for the job.
