Shkendija – Bregalnica 1:0

In a match played without a crowd, Shkendija collected a minimal 1:0 victory over Bregalnica.

Shkendija was serving the first of their two match ban without a crowd.  Things started rocky for the defending champions as defensive midfielder Muhamed Huseini received a straight red card in the 11th minute which left Shkendija with 10 men.  However, Shkendija controlled play even with one fewer player and new signing Oliver Peev decided the game by scoring the lone goal in the 29th minute.  Bregalnica also ended the game with 10 men after Goran Zdravkov received his second yellow card of the game in the 89th minute for a bad foul, this leading the referee to show him the red card.

Goalkeeper Marko Jovanovski has been in good form for Shkendija and kept another clean sheet.  Shkendija next faces Vardar on the road but they will be without the suspended Huseini while Bregalnica returns home to take on Metalurg.

Shkendija moved to third place with 18 points, trailing Metalurg and Vardar by two points.  Meanwhile, Bregalnica is second from bottom on the table with only 4 points after eight rounds.
