Shkendija adds Victor Juffo

Brazilian attacking midfielder Victor Juffo is the newest signing for the Tetovo based team.

Shkendija today unveiled their newest addition: the 21-year-old Nildo Victor Juffo who’s primary position is in attacking midfield. Juffo signed on for 6 months with a possible 2 more years if Shkendija is satisfied with his performances. He was already in Tetovo in December when he featured for Shkendija’s B team and proved that he may bring quality to the side.

“I’m happy to be here. I’m looking forward to justify the confidence that the board has shown in me and I also expect to bring joy to the supporters.” – said Juffo during his presentation. He shouldn’t have problems adapting to life in Macedonia as his fellow countrymen Stênio Júnior is already here.

Juffo, who will turn 22 in late February, comes from the Brazilian side Rio Branco Atlético Clube who competes in the state league of Espírito Santo, called Campeonato Capixaba (5th division in the Brazilian league system). In 2013, he spent 6 months on loan with famous Brazilian club Bahia while they were part of the top league in the country.

He is the fourth winter reinforcement for Shkendija so far after Besir Demiri, Mevlan Adili (both Shkupi) and Erblin Shakjiri (Rabotnichki). The Red&Blacks are also close to bringing in left back Stefan Ashkovski on loan from Partizan, but a problem arose in central defense as Bulgarian player Yordan Miliev asked the board to release him so he can go back to his homeland for family reasons.
