Second League – Round 2

Second LeagueDrita outplayed Borec, Madjari Solidarnost surprised Tiverija, Miravci drew with Teteks, Sileks held goalless by 11 Oktomvri, while Vrapchishte defeated Novaci.

The First League relegated side Drita hosted newly promoted Borec and totally outplayed the Veles based team. Drita bounced back from a bad showing in the first round with a convincing 3:0 win to get back to 0 points after they began the season with -3 points for its role in abandoning a promotion play-off against Euromilk Gorno Lisiche several months ago.

A very interesting game was played in Strumica where Madjari Solidarnost completed a come back from a 0:2 deficit to win 3:2. Tiverija was leading but a red card turned the game in favor of the visitors who eventually took the valuable 3 points. With this win, Madjari Solidarnost remains perfect in the early season.

It was a high scoring affair in Vrapchishte where the home team beat Novaci 4:2. Former national team defender and now veteran player Goran Stavrevski scored a goal for Novaci and later added an own goal. Vrapchishte joined Madjari Solidarnost as the only two teams who have two wins after two rounds.

In Prilep, Stojanche Velinov missed a penalty kick for Sileks as the three time First League champiosn were held to a goalless draw. This was the second draw for Sileks as they are still waiting for their first goal.

Miravci and Teteks shared the points in a 1:1 draw, while the same result in the Lokomotiva and Pobeda Junior game as well.  Meanwhile, Rufeja got past Zajazi, who together with Novaci, are off to the worst start.
