Mladost Carev Dvor got defeated by Skopje, goalless draw in the derby between Gostivar and Vlazrimi 77, leaders Shkupi beat Makedonija GjP, while Gorno Lisiche and Kozhuf Miravci smashed Napredok and Drita.
Promotion derby between second-placed Gostivar and fifth-placed Vlazrimi 77 ended without much excitement. Both teams failed to score ending the match in a goalless draw and therefore shared the points.
Mladost from Carev Dvor failed to use the outcome of the derby as they were defeated in the road game against Skopje. With a win Mladost could have taken over the second place, the last that ensures a direct promotion. Instead, the third-placed team lost 2:0 allowing Skopje to get back in the fight for the 3rd place that leads in the promotion play-off.
The last game scheduled for Saturday ended as expected. Gorno Lisiche visited dead last Napredok and even before the break cemented the 3 points with a 3:0 lead. The second half didn’t over much excitement as the winner was already solved, but two goals were scored near the end with each team scoring a piece.
Round 17 got concluded on Sunday with the rest two games. Makedonija GjP hosted leaders Shkupi and lost with a lone goal by Iseni. The game winner was scored in the last minutes of the game when the visiting player fired a great shot from around 20 meters and beat the home keeper.
In the clash between the relegation rivals, Kozhuf Miravci celebrated a huge and very important road win against Drita.
