Rufeja will participate in the Macedonian Cup after all where they will face Vardar in the 1/16 finals of the competition.

The team from the village of Miletino first decided not to enter the Macedonian Cup, thus one club was missing in Monday’s draw.  The current First League champion, Vardar, was drawn to play the representative of OFL Kichevo, the region from where Rufeja comes from.  Since Rufeja initially opted not to enter the drawing, leaving no representative from OFL Kichevo, that led to speculation that Vardar would automatically qualify for the next round.  However, with Rufeja changing its mind, they will get a chance to face off against Vardar.

The matches of Macedonian Cup 1/16 finals are scheduled for 22 August.
