Round 7: Win for Metalurg, draw in Bogovinje

Metalurg beat Napredok, while Drita and Horizont Turnovo shared the points in the first two games of the Round 7.

Metalurg managed to get the three points from the game against the unpredictable team of napredok. Seemed like the visitors will manage to hold on a goalless first half, but in the last minute before half-time captain Mile Krstev brought the lead to the home team. After around ten minutes of play after the break, Metalurg doubled the lead through Cvetan Churlinov. The rest happened in the last 10 minutes of the game. First Zharko Simjanovski brought Napredok back in game, but five minutes later Ljubomir Stevanović sent Metalurg on plus two again. The final score of 3:2 was settled in the 90th minute when Kushtrim Balazhi beat Metalurg’s keeper from the penalty spot.

In Bogovinje, Drita and Horizont Turnovo shared the points in a goalless draw. Drita’s new manager, Ane Andovski, failed to start with a win, but a draw against the suprise of the season isn’t a bad start at all.

The First League continues tomorrow with the rest four games.
