During the past few weeks Robert Petrov was connected with a move to England, Bulgarian club Cherno More and also a move to Rabotnicki, but Petrov decided to sign for Bulgarian PFK Slavia from Sofia.
The 30-years-old left back was connected with a move to England and after this move failed he was in negotiations with Bulgarian club Cherno More and Macedonian champion Rabotnicki, but at the end he decided to sign a 2 years long contract with the oldest football club in Bulgaria, PFK Slavia Sofia.
Robert Petrov is born on 2 June 1978 in Sveti Nikole. In 2002 he moved from Pobeda Prilep to the Bulgarian club Lokomotiv from Plovdiv where he won the title in 2004. In 2006 he moved to CSKA Sofia and in 2008 spent six months in Greek club Panserraikos. Since 2003 he is regular member of the Macedonia national team and has 34 appereances.
